Greggs, the high street sandwich chain, will open its first Scottish airport site in Glasgow in September. The company has invested £150,000 in its new Glasgow Airport outlet, which sees it expanding its presence in transport hubs, with previous openings in Newcastle and Leeds-Bradford airports. Alan Greenshields, general manager for Greggs of Scotland, said: “Our biggest priority for the new Glasgow Airport shop is that the service and range availability are in essence the same as that which customers experience in our traditional high street shops, with some additional exciting products including 'inspirational' sandwiches, hot sandwiches and a wider range of confectionery. “Whatever the products, we will be doing everything that is important to our customers.”
