Marugame Udon’s chief executive Keith Bird will take part in an exclusive Q&A at MCA’s Restaurant Conference next month.

The fast-casual Japanese noodle and tempura specialist from Japan, is looking to make a splash in the UK with its recently opened Liverpool Street debut, and a further three London sites in the pipeline opening before the end of the year.

Part of the global expansion plan to reach 6,000 sites, Keith Bird, chief executive of the Capdesia and Toridoll backed European master franchise will explain why the UK market is hungry for a specialist offering at a quick service price point.

Taking place at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on Wednesday 3 November, the annual sell-out conference returns for its first live event since 2019, and will see sector leaders coming together to network, share vision and strategy, and digest the current dynamics of the sector through a day of keynote speeches, insight presentation, panel discussions and Q&As.
