Delays to deliveries and the unavailability of products are issues that have been impacting hospitality businesses across the country in recent months as disruption is experienced up and down the supply chain.

Speaking at MCA’s Restaurant Conference next week (3 November), David Read, founder and chairman at Prestige Purchasing, will give an overview of the current challenges and highlight how operators can minimise the impact on their business. He will also forecast the trajectory of food inflation over the next year.

Taking place at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on Wednesday 3 November, MCA’s annual sell-out Restaurant Conference returns for its first live event since 2019, and will see sector leaders coming together network, share vision and strategy, and digest the current dynamics of the sector through a day of keynote speeches, insight presentation, panel discussions and Q&As.

The agenda also features panel discussions on the biggest issues impacting the sector, including recruiting and retaining staff, the drive to become more sustainable, investment opportunities in the recovery period, and the new property landscape.
