Filmore & Union, the café and deli group, has increased the amount of equity offered in exchange for the £500,000 it is seeking through crowdfunding.

The group has nine days to go in its fundraising campaign and has so far collected £362,550 – 72% of the total.

It has increased the amount of equity from 10% to 13.3%.

The aim is to use the money to grow to 30 stores within five years.

Adele Carnell, founder and director, opened the first Filmore & Union in 2012 and has since grown to seven sites across Yorkshire and the northeast with the next three planned sites due to open in the Yorkshire towns of Ilkeley, Beverley and Harrogate in the coming three months.
