Shepherd Neame chief executive Jonathan Neame faces a shareholder revolt led by second cousin Stuart Neame at Friday’s annual meeting.
Stuart has written to other shareholders to ask them to vote for three special resolutions that would make his brother Roderick a director and make the company reveal detailed figures about the Faversham, Kent-based business.
The Financial Mail on Sunday quotes a company source saying the board was confident Stuart would not win enough support.
