ETM Group has appointed Alex Lowe as its new marketing director.

He joined the premium sports bar business last month, replacing Kate Macdonald, who had joined the business in November last year.

Lowe, who joins from his role as group head of marketing at Mola & Sent Entertainment, has significant experience in sports marketing, with former roles including head of branding marketing at Formula 1 and marketing director at Sportlobster.

In April this year, the directors of ETM entered into an exclusive venture with St Austell Brewery to launch a series of premium sports bars across the West Country, called Ludo Sports Bar & Kitchen.

ETM Group founder and CEO Ed Martin told MCA it was a good opportunity to introduce ETM to regional towns and cities, with the operational experience of the two brands matching very heavily.
