Leon, the healthy eating chain, has confirmed that its next opening in the UK, will be at London’s Victoria Station.

As flagged up by MCA earlier this year, the John Vincent-led group will replace the Café Ritazza unit on the station’s main concourse. The site will open later this week.

Leon recently opened its first Spanish restaurant, at Gran Canaria Airport, and its largest to date with more than 200 covers.

The flagship site is the first to open as part of its partnership with Autogrill Group. It joins Leon’s other international restaurants in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Oslo.

Last month, the company signed a deal to open its first restaurant in Ireland, with plans to roll out to 20 sites in the country by 2023.
