HowYa, the at-table restaurant ratings and feedback service provider, has added a social media analysis tool and an automated TripAdvisor review function to its service.

The new social media analysis function tracks all social media activity relating to the business, giving the owner or operator all the information needed to react swiftly to customer comments via social media, without trawling the internet.

A response system is under development to allow managers to respond to social media interaction via HowYa.

The second new function allows operators to opt for an automated email to be sent to customers as they leave the restaurant inviting them to post a review direct to TripAdvisor.

The system captures customers’ views via a tablet while still in the venue. It provides the restaurant or hotel in depth data analysis and customer sentiment and behaviour can be analysed for every venue and time of day and across different service individuals.
