Westons, the cider maker, has launched Stowford LC, a new product it claims is the first low-carbohydrate and low-calorie cider on the market.
Stowford LC contains less than 0.5g carbohydrate per 250ml serving, and about 70 kilocalories. Roger Jackson, director of sales for Westons, described the new cider as "unique."
"It is produced using traditional cider apples and traditional methods," he added.
