Wabi London, operator of the eponymous high-end Japanese restaurant, has been placed in administration, M&C Report understands.

It follows news last month that Scott Hallsworth had been fired from his role as executive chef at Wabi London, which opened at Lincoln’s Inn Fields last summer.

It’s understood that the move has no impact on its sister restaurant in Horsham, West Sussex.

According to Companies House, Hallsworth and founder Andre Cachia had their positions as directors of Wabi London terminated on 11 June. A strike-off application was issued against the company on 7 May and discontinued the following day.

M&C Report contacted Wabi London for comment but received no response at the time of publication.
