Three senior directors at The Restaurant Group (TRG), owner of the Frankie and Benny's chain, have sold shares in the company. Andrew Page, chief executive, raised just under £1.87m after selling 616,509 shares as 302.75p. At the same time, Page exercised 589,190 conditional options and 74,319 matching options. Following these transactions Page has increased his shareholding in company from 576,806 shares to 623,806 shares, and his shareholding now represents 0.31% of the group’s issued share capital. Stephen Critoph, group finance director, raised just over £756,000 after selling 250,005 shares at 302.75p. At the same time, he exercised 226,550 conditional options and 48,005 matching options. The transactions mean that Critoph has increased his shareholding in company from 258,647 shares to 283,197 shares, and his shareholding now represents 0.14% of TRG’s issued share capital. Alan Jackson, non-executive chairman, exercised 100,000 share options at a price of 134.4p and sold them today at 302.75p per share, representing a gain of £168,750. It leaves Jackson with 400,191 shares, representing 0.2% of TRG's issued share capital.
