The Ivy Collection will re-open the first of its restaurants, The Ivy Chelsea Garden, on Saturday, 4 July, under the assumption the Government lifts its existing restrictions on its two metre social distancing guidelines.

The restaurant will have stringent health and safety measures, including thermal cameras for temperature checks, the use of tracking software for all employees logging daily temperature readings over a seven day rolling period, and professional deep cleaning and disinfecting on a daily basis.

Air filtration units have also been fitted, reported to be 99% effective in killing the MRSA and H1N1 viruses, part of the coronavirus family, while dedicated members of staff have been appointed to ensure health and safety is kept to a high standard.

Pedro Carvalho, general manager of The Ivy Chelsea Garden says: “I myself and all of the staff are extremely excited to be opening once again on Saturday, 4 July. We can’t wait to welcome back our regular guests and members of the community who we have greatly missed over the last few months. The team are also looking forward to being united again on the restaurant floor and in the kitchen, whilst maintaining a safe distance at all times.”
