Gordon Ramsay Holdings is facing winding up orders for two of the chef's London restaurants after HM Revenue & Customs took the company to court over undisclosed tax debts on four of his eateries. The chef's Gordon Ramsay Plane Food at Heathrow's Terminal 5 has been given 14 days for a cheque to clear and Maze has 63 days to settle undisclosed payments. The High Court judge, however, dismissed winding-up petitions for The Narrow in Narrow Street and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Royal Hospital Road saying that the debts had been paid prior to the hearing and adjourned the other two petitions. A spokesperson for Gordon Ramsay Holdings said: "In the summer Gordon Ramsay Holdings announced a restructuring of the businesses' finances following short-term cash-flow problems. "The company announced it was repaying debts, but it would be a process that would take several months. "In the High Court this morning the judge accepted this was the position and dismissed two of the petitions on the basis the debts had been cleared. "She also gave GRH further time to settle the other two debts. In one case a cheque is waiting to clear and in the other we are in the process of settling the account over the next few weeks."
