Pret A Manger has launched its hot food tour – promoting the brand from Brighton to Aberdeen over a two-week journey.

The company is taking to the road in a fully branded Citroen H van offering thousands of free samples of its Proper Porridge and new Quinoa Rice Pots.

The van will stop at 12 city high streets along the way to sample the best of Pret’s hot food menu. Full size portions of the best-selling Proper Porridge, made from British jumbo oats and fresh milk, will be given away in the mornings, while sample sizes of the new Korean Barbecue Pulled Pork and Sweet Potato & Cauli Curry Quinoa Rice Pots, made using British-grown quinoa, will be given out during the afternoons.

Pret is using its social media channels to promote the tour, and has picked talented local Instagram photographers to lend their lens to the campaign, with one photographer from each city shooting Pret’s hot food in their favourite local spots. Pret will then post the photos on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and use locally-targeted paid media with the hashtag #HotPret to reveal which city they are visiting on that day.
