Mother Clucker, the fried chicken street food concept, is closing in on securing a permanent site in London, M&C Report understands.

The concept, which launched its “ambulance” food van in 2013 and is backed by a handful of private investors, is the brainchild of entrepreneur Brittany Bean.

The business has retain Restaurant Property to seeks out sites either A3 or A5 of between 1,500 and 3,500sq ft in size.

Target locations include Covent Garden, King’s Cross, Shoreditch and Soho.

The group said that its flagship restaurant and bar will serve “high quality, sustainable food cooked quickly to order with a strong visual presence and brand identity”.
