Independent restaurateur Malcolm John has re-branded his restaurant Fish & Grill, in Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter, as Brasserie Vacherin as part of a major revamp.

The chef, which shut his Fish & Grill site in Putney and Le Cassoulet restaurant in South Croydon last year, said that Fish & Grill had been successful but decided it was time for a “fresh start because the market has changed”.

John also operates the orginal Brasserie Vacherin in Sutton and Le Vacherin in Chiswick.

He said: “This is bringing the restaurant back to my roots and Brasserie Vacherin will appeal to everyone, not just those you love fish.”
