Little Chef has placed 38 of its outlets across the country on the market for a total of about £10.5m. The properties have been placed on the open market to ascertain their value and will only be sold depending on the response they get. They are on sale as single units, groups or a whole package. A spokesman for the company said the move was part of a "valuation review". Little Chef is thought to have made several private disposals recently. The deadline for bids is 22 October and the sale is being handled by Christie & Co. Sites for sale range from £45,000 for a leasehold in Shropshire, to a freehold in Newark, Nottinghamshire, expected to fetch £650,000. The sales are for two sites in Scotland, one in Yorkshire, four in Wales, two in the West Country, eight in London and the South-East, and 21 in the Midlands.
