High-profile chef Gino D’Acampo is planning to launch a pasta bar concept in central London, M&C Report has learnt. D'Acampo, who co-owns Bontà Italia Ltd, a supplier of Italian ingredients, is believed to have retained property advisor Davis Coffer Lyons to secure sites for his ‘The Pasta Bar’ format in high footfall locations in the West End and the City. The chef is looking for A1 sites in particular for a grab and go format, although it is thought he will also consider A3 units from 1,500sq ft to 2,000sq ft in size. It is thought that the concept will allow consumers to choose their own pasta and sauce and add toppings.
