Inventive Leisure has sold nine freeholds to Aprirose, a specialist property investor, in a deal worth between £17m and £19m. The operator of the 50-strong Revolution vodka-bar brand has signed 25-year leases on the properties, on an initial yield of about 6%. Inventive, which is led by Roy Ellis and backed by Alchemy Partners, was advised by Coffer Corporate Leisure. Aprirose is a low-profile investor in UK property, with a £300m portfolio that includes a clutch of assets in the leisure market, including hotels, pubs and restaurants. The nine Revolution properties were in: Huddersfield, Lancaster, Leicester, Lincoln, Liverpool, Newcastle-under-Lyne and Wolverhampton, plus two in Manchester. The deal means that the Inventive property portfolio is now 100% leasehold. Christie & Co handled the deal on behalf of Aprirose.
