Intertain, the Walkabout chain operator, has become the latest business to pledge work placements for the Preceptions Group careers scheme.
The John Leslie-led group has pledged 50 work placements taking the total number of places pledged to the fledgling scheme over the 400 mark (413).
Last week Glendola pledged 28 places with Best Placed Inns promising 30. Oakman Inns & Restaurants has pledged a further 20, with another 50 pledged by Beds and Bars.
The group, which was established earlier this year to help attract young people into the hospitality industry, has set a target of 15,000 two-week work placements over the next 18 months.
