Geronimo, the gastro-pub chain owned by Rupert and Joanna Clevely, has bought two sites in Kensington and Chelsea, London from Scottish and Newcastle.

The acquisitions bring the company's estate up to 13 sites.

The company has taken free of tie lease on the Bram Stoker on Old Brompton road, South Kensington and the Resident on Smith Street, Chelsea.

The Kensington site will reopen as the Duke of Clarence in October, with the Resident due to re-open in November as the Phoenix.
