Andy Wilkinson, the former managing director of Clover Taverns, the 10-strong pub company which was placed into administration earlier this year, has joined Punch Taverns as one of its business launch managers.
Wilkinson set up Clover in 2009 after a year-and-a-half as operations director at Clear Pub Company. He previously worked for Punch for just over a year as an operations director.
Duff & Phelps has been appointed administrator of Clover, which ran sites across northern England and the Midlands.
GT Pubs, the Norfolk-based company led by Richard Grundy and Howard Thornton, formerly of GRS Inns, took over the operation of its 10 pubs in July.
