Coco Latte, the Earls Court nightclub founded by Marc Merran, the co-director of renowned Movida, has been sold to the Sauna Bar, a men’s health spa and licensed bar, for an undisclosed sum.
The new owner Bobby Lorenz, who is the former owner of the Café de Paris in the West End and the current partner of the Cuckoo Club on Swallow Street, has purchased a 25-year lease on the site at a premium of £150,000 and with passing rent of £125,000.
Lorenz, who currently has a Sauna Bar on Endell Street, is looking to roll out the brand, with the Earls Court site set to become the group’s second venue.
