Brewdog has secured sites in York and Norwich in its pipeline of 12 UK openings planned for the coming months.

Subject to licence and planning, the York BrewDog bar will be located at 130-134 Micklegate in a 2,500sq ft unit. The group said it has secured a bar in the centre of Norwich and are close to securing venues in Stirling and Southampton.

ShuffleDog in Leeds will be the next bar to open – next Friday – with classic pub and arcade games to accompany the beers.

Following Leeds, Brewdog anticipates opening in Brighton before the end of August; Glasgow’s Merchant City and a second Aberdeen site on Union Street in October.

Work will soon commence on the first DogEatDog in Angel, north London on the former giraffe Bar and Grill, BrewDog said: “A huge selection of craft beer and gourmet hot dogs await; we’re hugely excited to get this – the first in another of our new concepts – on the road to completion.”

Brewdog Dalston is expected to open beofre the end of the year on a former clothing factory at 92-100 Stoke Newington Road as the flagship site for north-east London which will include a BottleDog and homebrew store.

Finally, work is progressing on one of two planned Edinburgh venues - The Newington Fix/BottleDog at 25a Dundas Street, which will be an artisan coffee and craft beer bar.
