Bodean’s BBQ, the Andrew Blais-led restaurant group, is open to offers on its Muswell Hill and Fulham Broadway sites, MCA understands.

Shelley Sandzer is understood to be discreetly marketing the sites, with Blais prepared to listen to good offers for the sites.

The Fulham Broadway site is long-established for Bodean’s, while Muswell Hill Broadway opened in 2016.

Blais recently told MCA he was looking to streamline the eight-strong group, and move into train station concessions as a route to expansion in a challenging environment.

He said: “With all the doom and gloom, we thought we would streamline company, stay away from high rents and set up costs, and work on smaller concessions.

“Rather than not doing anything, we thought we’d still venture out and do something to a low fit out cost.

“We’ve got nothing to lose. The brand is strong. And if that works, there’s no reason it wouldn’t work at a service station, where the offer is improving every year. I think there’s room for growth.

“If that works I would also consider a franchise model across the country.”
