Incipio Group has appointed Cormac Rawson to the position of operations director.

Rawson has more than 25 years’ experience in hospitality, joining from Young’s & Co where he was operations manager, overseeing the running of 16 sites.

He joins the eight-strong London based operator at a pivotal time for the business as it begins a new phase of expansion with plans to open several more sites in 2023, said the business.

Commenting on Rawson’s appointment, Ed Devenport, chief executive, Incipio Group, said: “Cormac is an exceptional hospitality professional and a respected and proven operator. As well as being passionate about the sector and its people, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the group at an exciting time in our development as we enter our next phase of growth.

Incipio, which operates venues including The Libertine, Pergola, The Prince and Lost in Brixton, achieved a record turnover of £14.99m for the 52 weeks to 26 December 2021, compared to £6.31m for the comparable period in 2020.
