Deliveroo UK & Ireland has appointed Jonathan Fish as its new restaurant marketing director, MCA has learned.

Fish spent 10 years at Merlin Entertainments between 2009 and 2019, holding various roles, including sales and marketing director for Chessington World of Adventures, global head of marketing for Sea Life, and most recently group partnerships director for the group.

Since he left Merlin he has worked as chief customer officer at Powerleague – a private equity back football pitch operator and as chief marketing officer at Brand-Match.com.

Recent appointments at Deliveroo have included Eric French, formerly of Amazon as its chief marketplace officer, and Lord Simon Wolfson, former CEO of Next, as a non-executive director, as the delivery aggregator looked to build its executive board.
