We Grill, a new fast casual restaurant concept, is to open its first site this spring in Leadenhall Market.

The concept, which is the brainchild of former investment banker Tarek Yafi, focuses on healthy marinated seared skewers, seasonal side dishes, salads and homemade soups.

It will open a 12-cover site that will also feature an outside terrace this April.

The company plans to open eight sites over the next five years across the capital, before expanding into three further UK cities.

The concept, which is aimed at a core customer base of 20 to 50-year-old professionals, is interested in location in Marylebone, Soho, Covent Garden and Canary Wharf.

The company has appointed property advisors Lewis Craig to aid its expansion plans.
