Twinings, the tea specialist, is reportedly drawing up plans which could result in the company rolling out a chain of tea shops across the country.
The company is currently drawing up blueprints for a trial store at its site on the Strand in London, which it hopes to launch by the end of this year.
Stephen Twining, brand ambassador, told the Daily Mail: “The thing we have to do is get one open and take it from there. We’ve looked at all sorts of ways, but we haven’t yet come up with the right formula. You can’t put tea into a plastic cup. It doesn’t work.”
