Nigel Turpin, the former director of corporate affairs at Punch Taverns, has joined LT Pub Management – the new company formed out of the collapsed London Town business – as planning director (Paul Charity writes). Turpin, who was also previously in charge of planning at managed operator Sprit Group, is to oversee the integration of new pub management contracts at LT Pub Management. The business, which runs an estate of 179 pubs and is providing back office services for a further 197 pubs in the former GRS pubs company – the freehold portion of London Town – emerged from the pre-pack administration of London Town in February. Turpin is understood to have joined the company a few weeks after the pre-pack administration and is based at the company's head office in Attleborough, Norfolk. The head office has a staff of 42.
