The Cuban Bar in Canterbury has been placed into administration, leaving the once five-strong chain, operated by Roger Payne, with just its Camden site remaining.
UHY Hacker Young has been appointed as administrators to the site in the centre of Canterbury. The Camden site is believed to be still performing well.
It is thought that Payne will now concentrate on the Shaka Zulu restaurant in Camden, his joint venture with Camden Stables Market. The 850-cover outlet features two restaurants, a bar and club and is themed around South African Zulu culture.
He also previously owned the Shillibeers gastro pub in Islington.
Davis Coffer Lyons is thought to be advising on the Canterbury site.
