Spur Steak & Grill, the South African steakhouse brand has relaunched its Dublin restaurant as it continues an upgrades programme across its eight-strong UK estate.
Located at the busy Liffey Valley Centre in south Dublin, Rapid River Spur was the first Spur branch to launch in Europe operating under a franchise since opening in 2000.
Pierre von Tonder, Spur’s chief executive, said: “So far this has been a very busy year for Spur UK, with two relaunches in the first quarter. The Liffey Valley Centre branch has always been very successful with a huge following of loyal customers. However, it needed serious revitalisation and we have invested significantly to bring it up to standard. Customers have their expectations and it’s important for them, and for us as a business, that we deliver consistency and quality of design, food offer and customer experience across the estate.”
The company, which operates 370 restaurants in total, with the majority in Africa, is led in the UK by David Maich and updated and refreshed its brand design and food offering across its estate here last year.
