SFI has agreed to sell 98 of its 150 outlets to Laurel for £80m.
The high street bar company is heavily indebted and yesterday went into administration. Administrators at Price Waterhouse Coopers say the remaining 52 unsold outlets would continue trading while a buyer was found.
The SFI estate includes such brands as Bar Med, Havana and The Litten Tree.
