Colin Pedrick is to step down as president of InBev UK and Ireland and be replaced by Richard Evans, the current global vice president of brands. Pedrick, who only took up his current role in July last year, leaves the company after 27 years on May 4, following the completion of a recent restructure to bring more cohesion between the company’s sales and marketing teams. Evans, who joined InBev as marketing manager at Heineken, has been posted in Belgium since 2003, where he was appointed to work on a global project before moving to the role of vice president for commercial strategy in November 2003. Stefan Descheemaeker, president of InBev western European zone, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to wish Colin all the best for the future, at the same time, welcome Richard back to the UK business. “His experience of the UK market and his marketing and commercial skills, combined with the broader perspective and exposure to different approaches he has gained in global roles, will equip him particularly well to lead the future growth of InBev UK business.”
