Harris + Hoole, the coffee shop venture from Taylor St Barista, in which Tesco has a stake, is set to open 10 further sites across the South East over the next four months.

The 14-strong group, which has already secured a number of former high street retail units, is set to open a further seven sites across London, including a flagship site in Cannon Street, plus outlets in Guildford, Sunbury and Watford.

The chain, which is led by Nick Tolley, will open in Imperial Wharf and London Wall next month, followed by Cannon Street and Ealing in June. In July it will launch in St Margarets, St Margarets and Highbury.

The group has taken the 600sq ft Flight Centre site in London Wall and an empty 1,000 unit in Cannon Street.

The company is seeking ground floor sites in high footfall, white collar locations, near to other coffee chains, and also located next to underground or train station exits. Sizes can be from 750 - 2,500 square foot ideally with return frontages.”

It hopes to open an additional 15 in central London before the end of this year, which will be a mix of outlets co-located with Tesco and standalone sites.
