Leicestershire brewer and pub operator Everards has confirmed the appointment of Nigel Allen to the board as financial director and company secretary.
Allen, former chief accountant at Enterprise Inns, becomes the permanent replacement for Mark Newman, who retired last September. Allen has been at Everards for some time as executive director – finance.
Everards chairman Richard Everard said: “Nigel’s appointment coincides with a very exciting time in our history as we look forward to the continued growth of the business and, in the fullness of time, the introduction of the next generation of the family into the company.”
