Cinnabon, the bakery-café concept that specialises in cinnamon rolls, has unveiled plans to open 40 stores in the UK over the next five years. The company, which originates from the US and operates 700 stores in 30 countries, already operates three London stores in Trocadero, Oxford Street and Queensway – all of which opened in the past year. A report in the trade journal British Baker suggests the company plans to open a further two stores in the capital before embarking on an ambitious national rollout plan.
