Wasabi, the London-based sushi and bento chain led by Dong Hyun Kim, has secured its latest site in the UK, in Hammersmith.
The group, which opened its 30th site in the UK and its first outside the capital at Bluewater last month, has secured a unit in the Kings Mall development.
The chain, which was founded in 2003, has further openings lined up on The Strand and in South Kensington.
Earlier this year, M&C Report revealed that the chain would open its first international site next spring in New York, the first of what it hopes will be many it will operate in the Manhattan area.
The group has secured a 3,400sq ft site in Seventh Avenue for what will be its flagship US outlet.
