The holding company which owned the South East master franchise for Mucho Burrito has been dissolved, MCA has learnt.

W & W Burrito Developments, led by Hugh Wastnage and James Wylie, operated three Mucho Burrito sites, in Brighton, Crowley and Chichester, which have all closed.

The partners, who also operate Subway franchises in the region, had committed to opening 30 sites of the Tex-Mex concept in 12 years with sub-franchisees.

MTY Food Group, the Canadian quick service restaurant operator which brought the concept to the UK, was seeking other regional franchisees but MCA understands it only signed the South East master franchise agreement.
