Muffin Break has said a 28% uplift in sales of its core product in the first four months of the year is thanks to an initiative aimed at promoting unconventional flavour combinations.

Following its sales success, the group unveiled the fifth product from its Muffin Lab range - The Maple Bacon Muffin.

Muffin Break marketing manager, Gemma Sandells, said: “Since the launch of Muffin Lab in January, our quirky creations have been popular with customers looking for something out of the ordinary. We are happy to announce that this has definitely been reflected in our latest sales report, which showed the 28% year on year sales increases between January – April. “

“Our limited edition flavour offerings keep our customers engaged and excited to discover our next recipes in the Muffin Lab range.”
