Grind, the independent London-based espresso bar, is actively looking for more sites for its coffee bar concept following the upcoming opening of a second site in Soho, M&C Report has learnt.
The original Shoreditch Grind was opened in June 2011 by David Abrahamovitch and Kaz James who are hoping to continue the expansion with a third site within London.
“We are actively in discussions about a few future sites, however the main focus for the time being is making Soho as much of a success as Shoreditch has been,” Abrahamovitch told M&C Report.
Any future locations would have to “reflect our brand and our values”, Abrahamovitch said, which include having a sense of village/community.
“We’re really excited to be launching a second site, and we want to make sure this one really exceeds expectations and take’s the business to a whole new level”, Abrahamovitch said.
