TD4 Brands, operator of the Boost Juice Bars brand, plans to launch a new F&B concept into the UK market in the next 12 to 18 months, M&C Report has learnt.

Co-founder Richard O’Sullivan pointed out that the group’s sister business in Australia has added a separate coffee brand, a burrito concept and most recently a chicken format.

“That’s the type of thing we will do ourselves in time,” said O’Sullivan, who was formerly chairman of Barburrito. “It’s going to be food or beverage ‘on the hoof’.

Regarding timescale, he said: “Certainly in the next 12 to 18 months we’d have launched another concept. We’d have either acquired an embryo or started something from scratch.”

O’Sullivan said this approach is preferable to diversifying the offer under the Boost Juice Bars brand.

He added: “Part of our journey is trying to see what’s around the corner and trying to bring it to the market first, which can often result in a bloody nose, but when it pays off, it’s great.”
