Gail’s Bakery has announced its first digital loyalty programme, to be launched on 11 April.

The launch follows the artisan bakery’s recent introduction of a click-and-collect offering as well as expansion of its delivery services with Just Eat and Deliveroo.

Customers will be able to access the programme through the new Gail’s app, with QR codes available in bakeries to scan and download. They will gain one digital stamp per visit on the app, or two stamps if they spend over £20. On reaching nine stamps, customers will be able to choose from a loaf of bread or a barista-made drink.

Other rewards will include a barista-made drink upon sign-up, a sweet treat during the customer’s birthday month, personalised offers and rewards, and alerts about new product launches and exclusive events.
