Cathedral's bar and microbrewery in Durham has gone into administration five months after opening.

20 jobs have been cut while the company decides what action to take. The problems were blamed on opening costs, which grew after construction was delayed by 10 months. The current economic climate was also a factor.

The bar was funded by Richard Lazenby, who raised £4.5m from the sale of his Traditional Sausages company three years ago.
