Beck's, the brewer of Britain's best-selling imported premium bottled beer, has launched a new brand in Germany, Beck's Gold, which comes in a clear glass bottle.
The bottle has a patented UV light protection system to prevent the beer becoming "light struck" or "skunky", the big danger with beer in anything but brown or green bottles.
