Wright & Bell, the Imbiba-backed concept led by former M&B director Jayne Baker is already working on its second site, which is described as a ‘department store of dining’.
Baker confirmed to last night’s Imbiba Investor Conference that the brand’s first site will open South Place in Finsbury Circus in September.
The two-storey site features an informal restaurant and cafe/deli on one floor with a more sophisticated restaurant and bar on the other – all with open kitchens.
She said the group was already working on the design of the second site, which would feature cookery schools, retail produce and a florist alongside café and dining spaces.
She said she was also looking at a third site and there was a pipeline of openings planned.
