Veeno, the Italian wine bar and café concept, is to add to its presence in London, with an opening in Chancery Lane.
The company, which will open its 20th site this week in the Riverside development in Kidderminster, is believed to have signed a deal with franchisee Rodrigue Trouillet, former vice president, Technology and Operations EMEA at The Walt Disney Company, to open a site at 28 Chancery Lane.
Veeno, which also recently opened in Croydon and Sheffield, has a further opening lined up in Norwich, in The Terrace at the Castle Mall.
Veeno opened in St Paul’s last November, with its first London site having opened in The Griffin Centre in Kingston the previous month – however MCA learnt that this site had closed.
Earlier this year, co-founder Nino Caruso told MCA that most of its new sites would be franchised, with the business looking to add a further 12 sites by October 2018, having instructed Cedar Dean to help in its search for properties.
