YO! Sushi, La Tasca and Hakkasan were among the winners at the inaugural Farm Frites Development Chef Awards.

The awards, hosted by M&C Report’s sister title Restaurant, were announced yesterday at the Farm Frites Development Chef Summit, which took place at London catering college at Westminster Kingsway.

The Best Restaurant Menu (21+ Sites) award was given La Tasca, with Le Bistrot Pierre winning the prize for the three to 20-site category.

Best Pub Menu (3-20 Sites) was won by The Seafood Pub Company.

The Menu Innovation of the Year award was presented to YO! Sushi, in particular for its Ramen and Ramen Burgers, and the Best New Dish prize was won by Peach Pubs for its Maple-cured gammon rib-eye with poached egg and chips.

Harry Kodagoda of Anglian Country Inns won the award for Best Group Chef Pubs and Graham Hornigold of Hakkasan won the equivalent prize for the restaurants category.
