Kefi Ltd, the company led by Nabil Mankarious and David Page, is considering explore franchise opportunities as part of plans to expand The Real Greek chain outside of London. The company plans a steady expansion for the seven-strong chain but is looking at opportunities in shopping centres outside the capital, with Leeds mooted as a possible destination. Page told M&C Report that the group had received a number of franchise enquiries regarding taking the brand outside the capital. He said that the chain, which he acquired earlier this year from Capricorn Ventures, would look to add a further site next year, with a shopping centre opening the most likely target. Page said: “We would like to do another one next year but we won’t rush. The chain is performing well but there is still some more work to do on the sites we already have.” The chain currently operates sites in in Bankside, Covent Garden, Hoxton, Marylebone, Spitalfields, Westfield Shepherds Bush and Westfield Stratford.
