The Coconut Tree, the Sri Lankan street food concept, is opening two new restaurants in Bristol.
The concept, which currently has two sites in Oxford and Cheltenham, will open its first Bristol site on Cheltenham Road, followed by the Clifton Triangle in November.
A spokesperson for The Coconut Tree said: “After looking for over a year for the perfect spot, two locations became available and it was impossible to decide between them… so we have decided to open both.”
Earlier this year MCA reported the group was looking to open further sites in UK towns and cities, and had appointed leisure property company Fleurets to source locations.
The Coconut Tree was founded by five Sri Lankan friends, with the team supported by brand director Anna Garrod, whose previous roles include managing director of Po Na Na and more recently head of brand and revenue for The Lucky Onion, as part of her consultancy business.
